Casey Smith

Casey Smith is a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer at Pratt Miller since September 2019, specializing in performance aerodynamics through CFD and wind tunnel testing. Previously, Casey worked as an Aero-Mechanical Engineer with Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 Team, focusing on mechanical development for aerodynamic applications in Formula 1 vehicles. Earlier experience includes roles as an Aerodynamics Engineer at Manor Racing, where enhancements to front wing systems were developed, and at Pratt & Miller Engineering, contributing to aerodynamic model design and wind tunnel testing. Initial work as a Hybrid Vehicle Intern at BMW of North America involved problem-solving and analysis of hybrid vehicle issues.
