Daniel Huffer has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2010, they began their career as a Logistics Engineering Intern at The Schwan Food Company. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Process Engineer at Solar Turbines, where they focused on resolving production issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. In 2012, they joined Caterpillar Inc. and served as a Section Manager, overseeing shop floor employees and ensuring the achievement of production goals. Daniel also worked as a Site Buyer, responsible for purchasing finished materials from external suppliers. In 2014, they joined Chrysler Group LLC as an Industrial Engineer, where they developed standard work and led projects to increase throughput. In 2015, they started working at JAC Products, where they held various roles, including Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Manager, and Business Unit Leader. Lastly, since 2017, they have been working at Pratt Miller, initially as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager and then progressing to roles such as Production Department Manager, Sr. Manager of Production Manufacturing and Engineering, and Director of Production Operations.

Daniel Huffer completed their education at the University of Michigan-Flint between 2015 and 2017, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Michigan where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering.
