Taylor Tappe

Taylor Tappe is an experienced engineering professional with a solid background in controls applications and software engineering. Currently serving as Controls Applications Engineering Team Lead at Pratt Miller since April 2016, Taylor oversees prototype vehicle commissioning and leads a team in supporting autonomous robotic vehicles. Previous roles include Software Product Owner and Applications Engineering Team Lead, where Taylor directed product roadmaps and led customer support for enterprise software. Earlier experience includes positions at Bridgestone as a Tire Development Engineer and Meritor as a Field Application Engineer, focusing on vehicle technology and customer support. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
