Kara Stead

Kara Stead currently serves as a Product Owner and Principal Project Engineer at Pratt & Whitney since November 2023, having previously held the position of Integrated Product Team Lead. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Project Engineer at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems from November 2022 to October 2023, and as a Core Technology Mechanical Engineer at Monolith Materials from February 2021 to November 2022. Earlier roles include Manufacturing Engineer at The Nordam Group Inc and Quality Engineer at Textron Aviation. Kara is pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management at Oklahoma State University, expected to complete in May 2025, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the same institution.
