Mark Wain is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as Group Head of Risk at Praxis since August 2022, after holding the position of Group Senior Risk Manager. Prior to this, Mark worked at JTC Group from November 2020 to July 2022 as Senior Manager of Risk & Compliance, and at the Jersey Financial Services Commission in various roles including Regulatory Risk Analyst and Supervision Manager for Trust Company Business from November 2011 to October 2020. Mark's career began at Hawksford, where Mark was an Associate Solicitor from September 2000 to August 2011, having joined as a trainee English Solicitor. Mark holds an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management, a CPE with commendation and LPC with distinction from The College of Law, Guildford, and a degree in Arabic with Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies from Durham University.
