Lyndsey Anderson

Lyndsey Anderson is an accomplished pharmacologist with extensive experience in academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Associate Director and Senior Scientist at Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. since May 2022, Lyndsey focuses on developing treatments for neurological disorders. Previously, Lyndsey worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney from May 2016 to April 2022, where leadership was demonstrated in establishing and overseeing a preclinical epilepsy program aimed at screening cannabinoids for childhood epilepsy treatment. Prior to that, Lyndsey was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at Northwestern University from March 2014 to April 2016, researching genetic variations that affect drug metabolism. Educationally, Lyndsey earned a PhD in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Pharmacology and Toxicology, along with Biology, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
