Narendra Pai (Naren)

Narendra (Naren) Pai is a Senior Research Associate in the Energy Group at Prayas, Pune, since July 2019, following a brief tenure as a PhD Researcher. Naren's earlier experience includes a consultancy role at WRI India, where data cleaning and processing for the Station Access and Mobility Program were primary responsibilities. Additionally, Naren interned at WRI India assisting in a qualitative study on urban services, contributed to the evaluation of Farmer Producer Organisations during an internship at Catalyst Management Services, and assisted in impact assessment for Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives. Previous roles also include a Research Assistant position focused on workplace inclusivity and a managerial role at L&T Technology Services, specializing in design optimization projects. Naren holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from N M A M Institute of Technology, NITTE.
