Mattia Bolzan

Mattia Bolzan began their career as a children's entertainer at Bimbo Party S.R.L. in 2009. In 2012, they worked as an employee at Solleciti di Lucilla Mattivi and completed a stage at the University of Padova, where they wrote a thesis on the effects of sulfur dioxide on the transcriptional profile of enological yeasts. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Bioinformatician at the Laboratory of Medical Microbiology at the University of Antwerp. Mattia then worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Diagnostics and Public Health, Microbiology Section at the University of Verona from 2017 to 2018, and also at the Laboratory of Computational Metagenomics from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Prebiomics.

Mattia Bolzan holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology from the Università di Trento, which they obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biologia molecolare from the Università degli Studi di Padova in 2013.
