Lori Whynot

Lori Whynot is a long-time employee of Unum, one of the largest insurance companies in the world. Lori has spent their entire career with Unum, starting as an assistant vice president and working their way up to vice president of group and individual benefit operations. In this role, they were responsible for delivering industry leading outcomes for the company's disability and long term care claims organizations. Lori oversaw 1,400 claims specialists across four locations and implemented innovative process simplification and duration management programs.

Whynot is currently a board member at Preble Street, a non-profit organization that provides services to the homeless and hungry in Maine. Lori is also a member of the board of directors for the United Way of Greater Portland.

Lori Whynot received their BS in Business Management from the University of Maine at Orono.
