Leifur Erlendsson

Leifur Erlendsson is an experienced engineering manager currently at Precis Digital since March 2022, previously serving as data science team lead and senior data scientist at Danske Bank from July 2018 to March 2022. During tenure at Danske Bank, Leifur drove complex machine learning and data engineering projects while actively engaging in project planning and scoping. Previous roles include data scientist and junior developer at Precis Digital from March 2015 to May 2018, along with a teaching assistant position at the Technical University of Denmark in early 2014. Leifur holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Modelling and Computation (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from the Technical University of Denmark, as well as a commercial education from the Commercial College of Iceland completed in 2010.
