Vishaka Santosh

Vishaka Santosh, Ph.D., is a Principal Research Scientist at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center, where they manage and lead projects in immunological biomarker discovery. They previously held roles as a NRC Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, contributing to multiple publications and grant proposals. Earlier, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, gaining experience in organic synthesis and teaching. Vishaka earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia, followed by a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
