Janet Lewis has accumulated extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Janet started their career as a Cooperative Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1985, where they later became a Process Engineer. Janet then joined the American Sterilizer Company as an Associate Scientist from 1989 to 1991. Following this, they joined GlaxoSmithKline in various roles, including Director of Project Planning and Management, Director of Project Management, and Global Regulatory Affairs Head PMO. Janet also served as the Head of Global Labelling and Regulatory Transformation Program Director during their tenure at GlaxoSmithKline. In 2019, they moved to Precision BioSciences, where they held multiple positions, including Vice President of Business Planning and Processes and Head of the Program Management Office. In 2023, they joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President of Program Excellence.
Janet Lewis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Purdue University between 1982 and 1987. Following that, they achieved an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1996 to 1998, with a specialization in Business.
