Kelly Shelton

Kelly Shelton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in bioprocessing and viral vector production. Currently serving as a Process Engineer II at Precision BioSciences, Inc. since December 2019, Kelly has progressed through various roles including Process Engineer I and Associate Process Engineer, focusing on the production of viral vectors for mouse and non-human primate studies using diverse production vessels. Prior to this, Kelly worked as a Lab Analyst I at The Duke Human Vaccine Institute, gaining expertise in cell culture techniques with multiple cell lines, including SF9 and CHO. Additionally, experience includes a role as Research Technician II at The Duke Human Vaccine Institute and Biological Research Aid at USDA, all supported by a BS in Biological Engineering from North Carolina State University.
