Vijayaraghavan Chakravarthy

Vijayaraghavan Chakravarthy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vijayaraghavan started their career in 1986 as a Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. Vijayaraghavan then worked at Praxair, where they held various positions, including Senior Development Associate and Senior Engineering Consultant. During their time at Praxair, they chaired the Heat Exchanger Steering Committee and developed technology strategies for core heat transfer equipment. In 2015, they worked as an Energy Consultant and Industry Liaison at the University at Buffalo. Vijayaraghavan then joined Helios-NRG, LLC as the Director of Energy Technology. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Sales Director at API Heat Transfer. Currently, they hold the position of President Sales Marketing Americas at Precision Equipments, where they oversee the supply of process vessels and heat exchangers.

Vijayaraghavan Chakravarthy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering, which was attained from The Ohio State University between 1988 and 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, spanning from 1980 to 1981. Vijayaraghavan'seducational journey started with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering achieved at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, from 1969 to 1974.
