Deborah Phippard

Chief Scientific Officer at Precision For Medicine

Deborah Phippard is the current Chief Scientific Officer at Precision For Medicine. Deborah has also served as Executive Director, Biomarker & Discovery Research at Immune Tolerance Network from September 2009 to November 2014. Prior to that, they were a Project Leader at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Palo Alto from July 2002 to August 2009.

Phippard began their career as a Research Scientist at Searle in January 1998. Deborah then joined University of Pennsylvania as a Post-doctoral scientist in January 1995. After completing their Ph.D. from Institute of Cancer Research, London in December 1994, they became a Research Associate at Wellcome Diagnostics in January 1987.

In January 2000, they joined Pharmacia as a Principal Scientist and later served as a Senior Scientist till December 2002. Phippard then returned to Roche Palo Alto as a Project Leader from July 2004 to August 2009.

Deborah Phippard has a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the Institute of Cancer Research in London. Deborah is currently a professor of biology at the University of Pennsylvania.
