Matt Arnold

General Manager, Translational Sciences & EVP, Precision for Medicine at Precision For Medicine

Matt Arnold is the current General Manager of Translational Sciences & EVP of Precision for Medicine at Precision For Medicine. Prior to this, they were with Attune Neurosciences, Inc. as well as Tactile Therapeutics, Inc. In December 2019, they joined AVROBIO as the SVP, Head of Operations. In this role, they led the Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Program and Portfolio Management functions. Matt was responsible for implementing supply chains for a regional CMO network supporting global ex vivo autologous gene therapy clinical trials. Additionally, they built the Quality Assurance organization and implementation roadmap for a comprehensive, phase-appropriate Quality Management System.

Before their time with AVROBIO, Mr. Arnold served as a Coach for the Alpine Skiing Team at Special Olympics Maryland. Matt was also the Principal of Watauga Enterprises, LLC from September 2018 to November 2019. From April 2013 to August 2018, they were the Vice President, Operations - Oncology Therapy Area Leader at AstraZeneca. Matt's time at MedImmune was spent as the Vice President, Chief of Staff from May 2011 to March 2013.

Matt Arnold attended the United States Naval Academy, where they earned a BS. Matt then attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they earned an MBA in General Management. Finally, they attended Georgetown University, where they earned an MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
