Anthony Clarkson

Anthony Clarkson has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Anthony started their career at Vodafone as an ATP Project Engineer. Anthony then worked at Alcatel-Lucent, where they served as a Project Engineer and later as a Principal Engineer, focusing on new product integration and optimization for Fixed Access products.

After that, Clarkson joined Huawei as an Access Product Manager, responsible for the UK and Ireland market. Anthony then moved to Zhone Technologies, where they held various roles such as Senior Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Director, and Enterprise Business Development, promoting their Passive Optical LAN solution across Europe.

Clarkson also had roles at other companies like Association for Passive Optical LAN (APOLAN), where they served as Vice Chair of the European Committee, and Halo Technology Group, where they worked as a Technical Director in EMEA & India.

Their most recent position was at Precision Optical Transceivers, Inc., where they served as the Director of Engineering & Operations for the EMEA & APAC regions. In this role, they focused on providing customized optical components and engineering support to telecommunications and cable industries.

Throughout their career, Clarkson has demonstrated expertise in telecom networks, specialized in technologies such as GPON, FTTH, Core/IP, WDM, and Transport networks. Anthony has been actively involved in marketing initiatives, publishing industry articles, and speaking at events.

Anthony Clarkson attended Ermysted's Grammar School from 1991 to 1996. Anthony then went on to The University of Manchester from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Electronic Systems Engineering (MEng(Hons)). In 1998 to 1999, they had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on Electronic Engineering.
