Gary Moran

Gary Moran has a strong work experience in the field of engineering and network architecture. Gary is currently working as a System Engineer at Precision Optical Transceivers, Inc. Gary previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Layer Seven Communications from August 2020 to January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Engineer at iStreamPlanet from January 2020 to July 2020. Gary also worked as a Senior Voice and Data Network Engineer at OTELCO from March 2019 to January 2020. Gary has also held the position of Principal Engineer at Layer Seven Communications from February 2017 to March 2019. Before that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Windstream Communications from February 2015 to July 2017. Gary started their career at Accenture as a Video Network Architect from September 2013 to February 2015, where they implemented cost-saving network monitoring solutions and provided training to team members. Gary was also a Principal Engineer at Time Warner Cable from 2011 to September 2013, responsible for launching IP multicast video services and improving network monitoring and maintenance. In addition, Gary worked as a Technical Architect pre-sales at Motorola from April 2010 to December 2010, leading testing and integration efforts for set-top boxes and providing technical sales support to MSOs.

Gary Moran has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Audio Design and Engineering from Columbia College Chicago. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications as a DOCSIS Engineering Professional from SCTE in June 2014 and as a CCNP from Cisco in June 2001.
