Damon Robinson, M.D. has extensive experience in pain management, specializing in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain using advanced, non-surgical techniques. Damon has held various roles as an Interventional Pain Physician, including at Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Kaiser Permanente, and the ADVANCED PAIN MANAGEMENT AND REHAB MEDICAL GROUP, INC. Damon has also served as the Medical Director of the Pain Management Department at Holy Cross Health. Prior to their pain management career, they completed an Anesthesia Residency and a Pain Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Damon also has a background in internal medicine, psychiatry, and organic chemistry.
Damon Robinson, M.D. obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine from The George Washington University, where they attended from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemistry from Hampton University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their primary education, Damon Robinson has pursued various certifications to enhance their expertise. These include a certification in Coding, Compliance, and Practice Management from the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, obtained in June 2012. Damon also holds a certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), obtained in October 2010. Damon Robinson is certified in Controlled Substance Abuse Management from the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, obtained in June 2010. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Anesthesiology from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in September 2008.
