Mike Albert

Mike Albert has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Mike started their career in law enforcement, serving as an Assistant Chief of Police at the Winona Lake Police Department from 1994 to 2003. In this role, they supervised various divisions, including police K-9 and bike patrol, and also took on additional responsibilities such as being a primary training officer and public information officer.

After leaving law enforcement, Mike transitioned into the manufacturing industry, working for Zimmer Biomet from 2003 to 2010. Mike held roles as a Manufacturing Supervisor and later as a Manufacturing Manager, responsible for overseeing hip and extremity implant manufacturing. During their time at Zimmer Biomet, they championed multiple Six Sigma projects and received training in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

From 2010 to 2012, Mike worked for Biomet, Inc. as part of their manufacturing management team. Their responsibilities included managing high volume knee manufacturing cells, coordinating LEAN Manufacturing and 5S activities, and overseeing quality control activities.

Mike's most recent position was at Precision Spine, where they held various roles starting from Manufacturing Manager in 2012 to eventually becoming the Vice President of Operations and General Manager in 2015. Their responsibilities at Precision Spine included directing manufacturing operations, managing general operations, and overseeing overall business performance.

Throughout their career, Mike Albert has gained extensive experience in operations management, manufacturing supervision, and implementing process improvement initiatives.

Mike Albert attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and studied Criminal Justice until 1994. In 1991, they enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College and completed a Technical Certificate in Machine Tool Technology by 1992. Additionally, Mike pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Management at the Indiana Institute of Technology.
