Michael Hassenauer

Michael Hassenauer has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michael has held various roles in sales management, business development, and marketing. Michael's most recent position was as the Vice President of Sales at Precision Surfacing Solutions, starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at 3M Electronic Materials Solutions Division as the Business Manager for Electronic Abrasives. Michael was responsible for manufacturing and selling abrasive materials used in surgical machines for different substrates. From 2011 to 2014, Michael served as the Global Business Development Manager at 3M Architectural Markets, where they helped establish film solutions in the commercial interiors market. Before that, they worked at Derbigum Energies as the Division Manager, focusing on solar and green roof systems. In 2006, they joined the 3M Renewable Energy Division as the Global Marketing Manager, addressing the solar generation and solar passive market segments. Prior to their time at 3M, Michael held positions at 3M Building Safety Solutions Division, 3M Fire Protection Products, John Manville Corporation, Roco Tool Group, and Ridge Tool Company, gaining extensive experience in sales and management roles.

Michael Hassenauer holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Technology, General from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix. Michael also holds a Black Belt Certification (BB) from 3M, which they obtained in 2006.
