Kiran Beera

Kiran Beera has a diverse work experience in the medical and research fields. From 2018 to present, Kiran has been working as a Product Manager, International at Precision X-Ray, Inc. From 2017 to 2018, Kiran was a Clinical Research Analyst at The Hospital for Sick Children. From 2010 to 2017, Kiran was a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. While working as a Research Assistant, Kiran programmed in MATLAB to optimize a series of MRI contrast agent relaxivity models and performed data analysis and visualization involving NMRD profiles of various porphyrin complexes to characterize MRI relaxation rates. As a Teaching Assistant, Kiran supervised and coordinated laboratory experiments for first year chemistry students and evaluated student course submissions and provided appropriate feedback.

Kiran Beera completed a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology Specialist at the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Medical Biophysics from the same university between 2013 and 2016.
