Sky Andrew

Sky Andrew has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. They began their career in the US Army, serving as an MH-60 crew chief/maintainer and participating in combat tours and training missions. They then worked as an A&P mechanic at Noble Air Ventures and gained valuable experience at a small airfield.

In 2013, Sky joined Organizational Strategies, Inc. as a ground visual observer, where they provided aircraft collision avoidance by communicating with MQ-9 Predator B pilots.

They also worked at the University of North Dakota, first as an A&P mechanic and later as a student majoring in Unmanned Aircraft System Operations. During this time, they participated in training simulation exercises and assisted with the configuration of SandShark UAS.

In 2015, Sky became the Director of Pilot Operations at PlatformBrown, overseeing training programs and partnerships to enhance the value offered by the company.

More recently, Sky served in various roles at PrecisionHawk, including Flight Operations Manager, Special Projects Team Lead, and Director of Hardware & Special Project. They were responsible for maintaining flight safety, creating training standards, and exploring new aircraft options and sensors.

Sky Andrew's education history is as follows:

Sky Andrew attended the University of North Dakota from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Aeronautics Unmanned Aircraft System Operations.

Prior to that, Sky Andrew attended Bridgewater State University from 2011 to 2013, although their degree name is not specified.

In 2002 to 2004, Sky Andrew attended The New England Institute of Art and earned an Associate's degree in Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians.

After their formal education, Sky Andrew pursued additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained the CyPhy PARC Operator certification from CyPhy Works, and the PrecisionHawk Lancaster/Hawkeye Drone Pilot certification from PrecisionHawk.
