Zhixin Zhao

Director Of IVD Development at Predicine

Zhixin Zhao has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. They started their career at Yale University in 2008 as a Postdoctoral Researcher before moving on to Stanford University in 2009. At Stanford, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher, playing a prominent role in using NGS technologies to understand the drought mechanism in plants and identify novel genes involved in various diseases and cell differentiation.

In 2016, Zhixin joined Predicine, a NGS-based liquid biopsy company, as a Scientist. They progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Senior Scientist, Associate Director of R&D, and Director of R&D. In these roles, they contributed to the development of the One-Stop Precision Diagnostics Platform for Precision Medicine and utilized the Gene RADAR technology for non-invasive cancer diagnostics using human body fluids.

Most recently, Zhixin has been serving as the Director of IVD Development at Predicine since June 2021. Their expertise and experience in the field of NGS technologies make them a valuable asset to any organization.

Zhixin Zhao completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Physiology at Penn State University from 2001 to 2008. In addition, they obtained several certifications including "Command Line Tools for Genomic Data Science" in May 2016, "Python for Genomic Data Science" in March 2016, and "Introduction to Genomic Technologies" in November 2015, all from Coursera Course Certificates.
