Jenny Grange

Jenny Grange is an engineering manager at Prefect. Prior to their current position, they were a full-time software engineering immersive student at the Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy from January 2019 to May 2019. Jenny is proficient in Javascript, ReactJS, Redux, Node, Express, REST, Sequelize ORM, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS, and Git. Jenny is also knowledgeable in Mocha, Chai, JQuery, and Agile. From January 2015 to February 2019, Jenny was an ENL specialist at the NYC Department of Education. From January 2015 to September 2015, Jenny was a fellow at the NYC Teaching Fellows. During their time as a fellow, they received training specializing in serving high-need populations. Jenny also received certification for ESL, Grades K-12. Jenny has also held positions as First Secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from January 2003 to December 2015 and as Marketing at Torex Computer Systems from January 2002 to December 2003.

Jenny Grange was educated at The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy in computer software engineering. Jenny then pursued a master's degree in TESOL at Hunter College. Jenny also has an MSc in International Management (China) from SOAS University of London and an MA in Oriental Studies (Chinese) from the University of Cambridge. Jenny is also a certified RYT 200 Yoga Teacher from the Yoga Alliance.

Jenny Grange reports to Chris White, CTO. They work with Dylan Hughes - Senior Software Engineer, Kingsley Blatter - Chief of Staff to the CTO, and Kevin Kho - Senior Community Engineer.
