Kaushik Saikia

Kaushik Saikia currently serves as the Regional Director for Agriculture in the Asia Pacific at Preferred by Nature since November 2023. With a robust background in sustainability, Kaushik has demonstrated leadership in various roles, including Principal Consultant for Sustainability at the Tea Research Association from June 2019 to October 2023, where expertise spanned ESG, climate action, and regenerative agriculture. Prior experience includes serving as an Independent Consultant for Rainforest Alliance and as Senior Manager of Sustainability at Mcleod Russel India Limited, focusing on responsible business practices and multi-stakeholder program management. Kaushik began their career as a Manager in Research & Development at Hindustan Unilever Limited. Kaushik holds both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Agriculture from Assam Agricultural University.
