Melissa Hansen

Melissa Hansen currently serves as the Vice President of Accounting and Administration at Preferred Electric since February 2024, previously holding the role of Controller. Prior to this, Melissa worked as Corporate Controller at Identiti from February 2021 to February 2024 and at Bluff City Materials Inc from July 2013 to February 2021, where multiple roles included Corporate Controller, Controller, and Assistant Controller. Earlier experience includes a position as Real Estate Senior Accountant at Hamilton Partners from June 2006 to June 2013 and as a Legal Assistant at Linda Bal & Associates from June 2002 to June 2006. Educational credentials include an MBA in Financial Management and Control from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Benedictine University.
