Katherine Mejia

Katherine Mejia's work experience includes serving as a Lead Payroll Specialist and Payroll Representative at Preferred Home Care of NY since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Receptionist at the same company from February to May 2018. Ms. Mejia also gained experience through an internship at the Bridgeport Police Department's Clerk Office from February to November 2016. During this internship, they filed and organized paperwork and had the opportunity to work in different departments within the police department. Previously, they completed an internship in the department of Foreign Languages, Business, and Science at Murry Bergtraum H.S. for Business Careers from September 2010 to May 2011.

Katherine Mejia completed their high school education at Williamsburg Charter High School from 2012 to 2013, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on General Studies. Following that, they pursued higher education at the University of Bridgeport from 2013 to 2017. Here, they obtained Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Social Science.
