Sarah Folsland

Sarah Folsland is an accomplished professional in corporate communications, currently serving as Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at both Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Preferred Travel Group since January 2023. Previously, Sarah held the position of Communications Manager at Black Hills Energy for nearly 14 years, where responsibilities included leading communications and marketing campaigns. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Program Manager for the Women in Science and Engineering program at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Business Development Representative and Policy Analyst in the Governor's Office of Economic Development for the State of South Dakota, and Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. Sarah Folsland holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of South Dakota.
