Brenda Collin FIH has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Brenda currently holds the role of Executive Vice President Europe at Preferred Travel Group, where they are responsible for overseeing operations in Europe. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP Europe at the same company.
Before joining Preferred Travel Group, Brenda served as the Managing Director for the UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Netherlands regions, as well as the Regional Director for the UK, Ireland, Nordics, and The Netherlands at another company. In these roles, they managed a portfolio of member hotels, added new properties to the brand, and provided support and guidance to hotels in areas such as rebranding and marketing strategies.
Brenda also has experience working with HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts as an Executive Director. In this role, they were responsible for commercial contracting, marketing, staff management, and driving business growth. During their tenure, they successfully contracted clients that contributed to significant turnover.
Additionally, Brenda held various positions at Utell (Pegasus), including Director of Account Management and Director of Business Development. Brenda was accountable for revenue performance and member portfolios, and also played a key role in the development of the Utell product in the Middle East and Africa.
Earlier in their career, Brenda worked at Hilton Hotels Worldwide, where they held various roles in operations, sales, and business development. Brenda excelled in meeting targets and eventually transitioned to gain distribution experience with Utell.
Furthermore, Brenda is currently involved with the Institute of Hospitality as a Trustee and Member of the Supervisory Board.

Brenda Collin FIH completed their education in a few different stages. In 1987, they graduated from Atlantic Technological University with a degree in Hotel & Catering Management. In 2018, they earned a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University. In 2023, they pursued further studies in Governance Stage 2 at Civil Society Media.
