Ernie Sarkipato

Ernie Sarkipato is a Water Process Engineer at Prein&Newhof since August 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, where responsibilities included serving as a Distribution Engineering Specialist and Surface Water Treatment Engineering Specialist with regulatory oversight of 26 surface water treatment plants. Prior to that, Ernie worked at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for 18 years, holding positions such as Drinking Water Area Engineer, Floodplain Engineer, and Hydrologic Engineer, focusing on public water supply oversight, hydraulic modeling, and peak flow discharge calculations.
