Alicia Sontag is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Prelude Growth Partners. Alicia has over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, having held executive positions at some of the biggest names in the business including Johnson & Johnson, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and Estee Lauder.

Sontag began their career as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in 1996. Alicia quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an Associate at the firm just three years later. In 2001, they made the jump to the beauty industry, taking on the role of Vice President of North America Marketing at Clinique.

After five years with Clinique, Sontag took on a new challenge as Senior Vice President at Estee Lauder. In this role, they oversaw the company's beauty portfolio which included brands like Neutrogena, Aveeno, OGX, RoC, Neostrata, Exuviance, Dr. CiLabo, Clean & Clear, Le Petit Marseillais, Johnson's Adult, and Dabao (China). After four years in this role, Sontag was promoted to Global President of Beauty at Johnson & Johnson where they oversaw all aspects of the company's beauty business.

In 2017, Sontag left Johnson & Johnson to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, co-founding Prelude Growth Partners. At Prelude, Sontag is focused on helping early-stage consumer brands grow and scale. Under their leadership, the firm has invested in a number of successful brands including The Yes Group, Supercoiled Haircare,

Alicia Sontag's educational career began at The Wharton School, where they studied economics and finance. Alicia then went on to earn their BS from Harvard Business School.
