Satya S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and sectors. In 2014, they served as a Board Member for WISE - Women's initiatives that Strengthen and Empower until 2018. From 2016 to 2019, Satya served as the Chief Medical Officer - Arizona at WellCare Health Plans. Satya later joined ASU College of Health Solutions as a Clinical Associate Professor from 2020 to 2021. In 2019, Satya began their role as the Medical Director at Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) until 2022. Satya also held positions in Maricopa County Public Health as a Principal Investigator and Arizona State University as an Adjunct Professor. In 2021, Satya became a Board Member for the AZ Public Health Association and served as the Vice President of Medical Management & Population Health at Premera Blue Cross. Satya is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees at Vitalyst Health Foundation and recently joined Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women executives.

Satya S. has a diverse education history. In 1985, Satya obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Penn State University. From 1987 to 1991, Satya pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Thomas Jefferson University. Following this, from 1991 to 1994, Satya completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Recently, in 2016, Satya obtained a certificate in Value Measurement for Healthcare from the Harvard Business School Executive Education.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Satya also holds a certification in IRB - Biomedical Research (Group 1), which was obtained from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY, in October 2020.
