Cheryl Pollock has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Cheryl started their career in 1995 as an Outreach Coordinator at the HEALTHY START COALITION OF HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, INC. Cheryl then worked as a Hotline Coordinator & Rape Crisis Counselor at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they served as a Regional Director at Family Source of Florida. In 2002, Cheryl joined the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, where they worked as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant for Strategic Projects for ten years. In 2012, they became the Chief Advancement & Community Engagement Officer at Premier Community HealthCare. Additionally, Cheryl also owns their own consulting and project management services firm called CWP Consulting & Project Management Services.

Cheryl Pollock holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. In 2005, they obtained a Master's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. Cheryl is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health - MPH degree in Social Marketing from the South Florida College of Public Health, with an anticipated completion date in 2024. Additionally, they hold a certification in Grant Professionals Certification (GPC) from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute.
