Courtney Shippee

Courtney Shippee has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Courtney began their career as a Promotional Brand Ambassador at Select Promotions LLC, where they focused on increasing brand awareness and product sales. Courtney then moved on to work as a Staff Accountant at Onyx Equities, where they executed financial reporting packages and assisted with budgeting and forecasting. Following that, they joined EY as a Tax Accountant, specializing in tax assurance and consulting, including federal, state, and international tax reporting. Courtney later transitioned to Premier Consulting & Integration LLC, where they held various roles. As a Senior Consultant, they implemented and provided general consulting for Deltek's Costpoint accounting software. In their role as a Principal Consultant, they project-managed the implementation of Deltek Costpoint for small businesses and served as a subject matter expert in payroll modules. Currently, Courtney works as the Director of Accounting & Consulting at Premier Consulting & Integration LLC, overseeing the Accounting Services Department and leading a team of CFOs, Controllers, Bookkeepers, and internal Auditors.

Courtney Shippee has a strong educational background in business and accounting. Courtney obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Monmouth University, graduating in 2013. Courtney continued their education at Monmouth University and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2014.

In addition to their education, Courtney Shippee has obtained several certifications related to the Costpoint software. Courtney achieved certifications in various modules such as Time, Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Projects, and Labor, Leave, and Payroll. These certifications were obtained from Deltek, with the most recent being the Costpoint Certification with Time Certification Exam in October 2020.
