Duane Carter

Duane Carter has a strong background in information technology and project management. Duane is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Management and Solutions at Premier Eye Care, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director of IT Operations at Premier Eye Care from May 2016 to June 2022.

Before joining Premier Eye Care, Duane worked at American Express as a Program Director - Consultant from September 2015 to May 2016.

From 2014 to 2015, Duane held the position of Director of Application Services at Univita Health Inc, where they were responsible for software delivery, support, and process improvement initiatives. Prior to this, they were the Application Development Manager at Univita Health Inc from 2011 to 2014, overseeing software project implementation and support for the Integrated Home Care business unit. Duane also served as a Program Manager at Univita Health Inc from 2010 to 2011, coordinating projects related to enterprise data, production services, and information security.

Duane's previous experience includes roles as a Senior Project Manager at GMAC from 2009 to 2010, where they managed agile BPM projects and implemented software delivery frameworks, and as a Senior Project Manager at GMAC-RFC from 2004 to 2009, where they led communications, capacity planning, and process improvement initiatives for the Automated Decisioning department.

In the early years of their career, Duane worked at The Schwan Food Company as a Senior Project Manager from 1996 to 2004, managing development teams and overseeing website and client server system projects. Duane also worked as a Programmer/Analyst at NationsBank (now Bank of America) from 1994 to 1996.

Duane Carter earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in CIS and Mathematics from Mayville State University. Duane attended the university from 1989 to 1993.
