Mike McKewen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly within cardiovascular services. Mike began their career at Catholic Health Initiatives as a Clinical Engineer and eventually worked their way up to Supervisor and Senior Clinical Engineer. After that, they joined Premier Health Partners as the Director of Cardiovascular Services, where they held this position for two years. Mike then took on the role of Director of Cardiovascular, Respiratory, and Sleep Services before being promoted to System Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line. In addition to their work at Premier Health Partners, McKewen also served on the Administrative Committee and as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Montgomery County ADAMHS, playing a key role in coordinating mental health and addiction services.
Mike McKewen received their Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Kettering College in 2013. Mike went on to obtain a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from the University of Cincinnati between 2014 and 2016. In 2018 and 2019, Mike completed an Executive Development Program at the University of Dayton.
