Greg Shone

Greg Shone currently serves as the Sporting Director for Rotherham United Women FC since April 2024 and has held multiple roles within The Premier League since November 2015, including Coaching Projects and Operations Manager and Coaching Projects Consultant. As a Trustee for Rotherham United Community Sports Trust since June 2022, Greg contributes to community initiatives, while previously chairing the governors at Thornhill Primary School from July 2020 to July 2023. Greg's experience includes work with Derbyshire County Football Association Limited as an Inclusion Advisory Group Member, focusing on equality in sports, and supporting the National Citizen Service at Derby County Community Trust. Additionally, Greg was a Youth Board Member for the Youth Sport Trust, an Events Assistant at Wiggle, and has held leadership positions in football analysis and management during university studies at the University of Birmingham, culminating in an MSc in Sport Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
