Francis Colangelo M.D., Ms-Hqs, Facp

Dr. Francis Colangelo has over 34 years of work experience in the medical field. Francis is currently serving as the Director of Risk Adjustment Clinical Leader at Highmark Inc., a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Colangelo worked at Allegheny Health Network as the Director of the Outcomes Office. Francis started this role in January 2021 and is still currently employed there. Dr. Colangelo also has a long history with Premier Medical Associates, P.C., where they worked as the Chief Quality Officer and Internist from July 1987 until the present. Additionally, they served as an Internist at the same organization from November 1999 until January 2021.

Francis Colangelo, MD, MS-HQS, FACP completed a Master of Science in Health Care Quality and Safety (MS-HQS) from Jefferson Health, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree in Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University, where they attended from 1980 to 1984.

Furthermore, Dr. Colangelo holds the additional certification of ABIM from the ABIM Foundation, which they obtained in November 1987.
