Head of Responsible Investing at Premier Miton Investors

Helene Winch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Helene'smost recent position was as the Head of Responsible Investing at Premier Miton Investors, a role they have held since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at HSBC Global Asset Management, where they held two roles. Firstly, they were a Senior Fixed Income Responsible Investment Adviser from February 2018 to August 2019, where they provided expertise on ESG integration and green bonds, among other responsibilities. Earlier in their career, Winch held several positions in the finance industry. Helene was the Head of Policy at BT Pension Scheme Management from July 2009 to September 2013, where they focused on engaging with governments on investment policies and implementing sustainability policies. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director of Alternative Investments at Hermes Investment Management, with a particular focus on commodity funds from July 2007 to July 2009. Helene also has experience in commodity derivative sales at Marex Financial and ANZ, and as the Director of Commodities at Rabobank.

Helene Winch pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1986 to 1988, they attended Charterhouse where they completed their A Levels. Following this, they attended the University of Cambridge from 1989 to 1992 and earned their MA in Engineering Science. Later, in 2002 and 2003, they enrolled in Imperial College London and completed their MSc in Mathematics & Finance.
