Ijafiya Stephen Apagu is a health and nutrition program manager at Première Urgence Internationale since October 2019, with a background that includes serving as a stabilization centre doctor. Prior experience includes working as an ER medical doctor at Médecins Sans Frontières from February 2019 to October 2019 and as a house officer at Modibo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola in 2018. Additionally, Ijafiya was a medical doctor at Médecins Sans Frontières from July to December 2017. Ijafiya holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Maiduguri, a Master of Science (MS) in Public Health from the National Open University of Nigeria, and is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health (MPH) in Health Prevention and Promotion at Ahmadu Bello University, expected to complete in May 2025.
