Cristian David Hurtado Ocampo

Cristian David Hurtado Ocampo serves as the CEO of BIOMIMESIS COLOMBIA since March 2018 and has been an Ambassador for Premios Verdes since August 2022. In addition, Cristian is a member of the climate change council for Sta. Rosa de Cabal, representing the environmentalist guild through the movement Educando Ando since June 2021. Cristian's academic contributions include a recent role as a professor at Universidad Católica de Pereira from July to November 2023. Cristian holds a degree in architecture from Universidad Católica de Pereira and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Environment and Development, specializing in land management, urbanism, and the environment at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, expected to complete in February 2025. Cristian also has a background in technological training from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA).
