Jason Weinstein

Jason Weinstein has extensive experience in the IT industry. Jason is currently the Senior VP of IT Architecture and Engineering at Premise Health, a role they have held since February 2020. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of IT Infrastructure at the same company from October 2014 to February 2020.

Before joining Premise Health, Jason worked at the University of Virginia as the Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Infrastructure from May 2012 to October 2014.

Jason also has experience at BCBSNC, where they held various roles including Director of Business Transformation from December 2010 to April 2012, Director of Communication & Collaboration Services from June 2009 to December 2010, Director of Network & Telephony Services from January 2008 to June 2009, Manager of Data Center Services from June 2005 to January 2008, Manager of Data Center Automation from February 2004 to June 2005, and Information Architect/Project Manager from March 2002 to February 2004.

Prior to their time at BCBSNC, Jason worked at Predictive Systems as the Director of Technical Services and Managing Consultant from 2000 to 2002, and at RPM Consulting as a Regional Manager from 1996 to 2000. Jason started their career at Nettech, Inc as a Project Development Manager from 1994 to 1996.

Jason Weinstein holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina. Jason also has a Master's degree in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). In addition, Jason holds an MBA/MHA degree from Pfeiffer University. Jason has obtained certifications in CISSP from (ISC)² in December 2019 and TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group in 2018. Jason also possesses an inactive CCIE #5874 status and has completed a course in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan.
