Arul Isai Imran

Arul Isai Imran has a strong background in product management and user experience design. Arul Isai started their career at Virginia Tech, where they served as a Graduate Assistant and later as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Industrial Design Program and the Center for Wireless Telecommunications. In 2006, they worked as an Instructor/Intern at the Faculty Development Institute.

In 2007, Arul joined Accela as a User Experience Designer, where they played a key role in designing interfaces and experiences for multiple products. Arul Isai then progressed to become a Product Manager, responsible for shaping and managing various products. Arul also served as the Manager for UX and the Design Lab, where they scaled up the design team and established user-centric product development processes.

Most recently, Arul worked at Premise Data as the VP of Product and UX, overseeing product and user experience strategies. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, establish design practices, and enhance user feedback and usability studies. Arul Isai has also played a significant role in branding and the creation of design systems.

Arul Isai Imran holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics with a specialization in HCI from Virginia Tech. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras. Arul Isai also has additional certifications in Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, and Crucial Accountability and Crucial Conversations from VitalSmarts.
