Brett Morinaka

Brett Morinaka's work experience includes a role as Lead Data Analyst at Premise starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Analyst at Premise from January 2021 to March 2022. Brett also served as a Data Analyst at Premise from September 2019 to January 2021. Before joining Premise, Brett worked as a Data Analyst at Microsoft from July 2018 to September 2019. Brett gained experience as a Data Science Intern at FanWide from February 2018 to July 2018. Additionally, Brett worked as a Data Scientist at General Assembly Seattle from September 2017 to December 2017. Prior to their career in data analysis and science, Brett served as a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer at Boeing from June 2014 to August 2017. Brett began their career as a Busser at NoKaOi Restaurant from July 2011 to September 2012. Lastly, Brett gained research experience as a Research Intern at the California NanoSystems Institute in August 2010.

Brett Morinaka completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara from 2010 to 2014. In 2017, they attained an Immersive Completion in Data Science from General Assembly, as well as completed an Individual Course in SQL for Data Science from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, in 2017, they received training in Intro to Data Visualization and Tableau from General Assembly.
