Joachim Schmidt

Joachim Schmidt's work experience includes holding the position of Head of Site and Plant Varel at Premium AEROTEC since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Airbus from 2019 to 2022 as the Head of Manufacturing Service Center. From 2014 to 2019, they served as the Head of Parts Production at Premium AEROTEC, and from 2009 to 2014, they held the position of Head of Shell / Section Assembly A350XWB Sect. 13/14 at the same company. Before joining Premium AEROTEC, they worked at Airbus from 2001 to 2009, where they held various roles including Head of Integrated Shell Assembly SA/LR, Technology Development Manager, and Project Manager "Value Creation". Joachim started their career at DaimlerChrysler Aerospace in 1999 as a Process Engineer "Machining".

Joachim Schmidt completed their education in 1998, where they attended Leibniz Universität Hannover. During their time at the university, they pursued a degree in Production Technology, successfully earning a Dr.-Ing. / PhD.
