Tony Nunez

Tony Nunez is the Miami Manager at Premium Mortgage Corporation. Tony has over seven years of experience in the mortgage industry, including Cross Border Manager/ International Mortgage Business Development at HSBC. At HSBC, Tony was responsible for various reviews for services performed by HSBC’s Mortgage Servicing Vendor to ensure contractual obligations are met and vendor complies with all applicable laws and regulations relative to services performed. This also included on-site reviews for this vendor. In addition, they provided assistance during regulatory exams in an effort to help mitigate potential risk to HSBC and provided insight on applicable regulatory requirements pertaining to mortgage servicing.

Tony has also been responsible for second line of defense Regulatory Compliance efforts within the mortgage consent order remediation workstream that addressed deficiencies within regulatory change management and third party risk management both internally and externally via a mortgage subservicer. This work led to the closure of the order in January 2017. Tony also coordinated efforts with Legal, Mortgage Management Oversight Group and subservicer to ensure Compliance with the Amended 2016 CFPB Mortgage Servicing Rules.

Most recently, Tony led Regulatory Compliance due diligence review of replacement sub-servicing vendors using analysis from previous regulatory engagements and historical management self-identified issues to drive thorough vetting of perspective companies.

Tony Nunez's educational career began at Christopher Columbus High School, where they studied business administration/finance. Tony then continued their education at Florida International University, also studying business administration/finance.

They are on a team with Pauline Johnson - Marketing Director, Beth Mooney - Human Resources Director, and Alexia Barbarossa - EVP & Operations Manager. Tony Nunez reports to Mike Donoghue, President.
