Joshua Kong has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 with a summer internship at PwC. Joshua then worked as an Audit Associate at EY from 2012 to 2014. After that, they joined Lazada Group, where they led a sales team and broke regional sales records. Joshua also designed and built regional sales training manuals. At Glasses Group Global, they oversaw an independent team and built partnerships with third-party sales sites, achieving significant sales revenue. Joshua then moved on to roles at Ematic Solutions, where they served as Regional Director of Customer Success and later as Country Manager in Malaysia, selling marketing AI technologies and establishing the founding team. At Elixus Agency, they held the positions of Regional Head of Account Management and Strategy and Regional Head of Performance Marketing, overseeing various digital marketing strategies and leading teams. Joshua then joined Maxis as a Strategy and Growth Lead before taking on roles as Director of Digital Marketing at Una Brands, CircleDNA, and Prenetics, all in 2022 and 2023.

Joshua Kong attended the University of York from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting Business Finance & Management. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they completed their A Levels at Garden International School. Joshua also attended the same school from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their IGCSE's.
