Jassim Naqvi

Jassim Naqvi has a diverse work experience. Jassim began their career in 2015 as an Associate Manager at Accessory World. In 2016, they worked as a Peer Support Mentor at UBC Students' Union Okanagan. In 2017, they joined the Board of Directors of UBC Students' Union Okanagan, where they served as the AVP Finance and Operations from November 2017 to May 2018, Student Senate Caucus Representative from May 2018 to May 2019, and UBC Board of Governors Representative from May 2019 to May 2021. In 2018, they were elected by UBC Okanagan students for two consecutive one-year terms to the UBC Board of Governors and also co-founded HYPE Entertainment, an advertising agency. In 2019, they worked as a Learning Technology Rover at the UBC Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology. Currently, they are working as an Inside Sales Specialist at Prenuvo, a Vancouver/Silicon Valley health tech startup, where they are experienced in maintaining traction throughout the entire sales cycle, utilizing CRMs like SalesForce and Copper towards hitting consistent targets, and personally bringing in $50,000+ USD in revenue monthly.

Jassim Naqvi attended Bay View High School from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained GCSE O and A Levels in Sciences. In 2014, they completed the Medical Youth Support Program at the University of Toronto in Life Sciences. From 2015 to 2021, they attended The University of British Columbia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. In 2017, they also obtained a certification from The University of British Columbia in UBC Okanagan Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences.
