Kitty Leering is an experienced program coordinator and curator, currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the Society 5.0 Festival at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and as a program curator for Dutch Media Week. Kitty holds several board positions, including Chairman of the Board for the PreparationTech Foundation and board member for Digital Rights House. With a strong background in technology education and digital rights advocacy, Kitty advises NewTechKids and is a member of the Selection Commission for Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie. Kitty is also the owner of DutchBlend and co-founder of Causatives, and has co-hosted events at the House of Beautiful Business. Educational qualifications include a degree in Marketing, Communications, and Design from Hogeschool Holland, along with studies in Public Relations and Psychology.

PreparationTech Foundation (Stichting PreparationTech) is the nonprofit foundation behind the PreparationTech online platform which explores how technology is transforming study, training and work in virtually every industry, field and discipline. Our platform showcases the personal stories of a diverse and inclusive group of role models who explain what they do, outline the paths they've taken to get there, and provide insight into what it takes to be successful in their respective fields. Aimed at parents, caregivers, teachers and school guidance counselors, PreparationTech provides strategic advice and specific tips on how to awaken kids to the possibilities of technology and how to combine it with their passions and hobbies.
